A Few More Talarico Questions
On one hand, as I noted in yesterday's update, there now appears to be video evidence that James Talarico was at home during the period he was out of the public eye, and the whole Ohio mental facility atory has been discredited. On the other hand, this doesn't answer the key question of why he was out of the public eye at all, and it doesn't answer the subsidiary question of why his campaign handled the whole episode so poorly. Matt Margolis at PJ Media quotes two moderate Democrats : Mark Penn, who served as an adviser to Bill Clinton, weighed in during an appearance on Fox News. "Oh, this is super odd. There's no question about that," Penn said. "These are the final days of a hundred million campaign, a major effort, one of the most key Senate races, and your candidate disappears for 12, 13 days with no clear word, no messages, no ability to kind of send out some messages, has the flu?
